Mini storage facilities are much smaller when compared to a standard storage facility. Depending on the facility that you choose, the units may be the size of a closet. What to Look For

If the area lights up when someone drives in this will deter them to leave. Security lights may be on all the time, such as floodlights. There may also be motion detector lights installed in various areas of the storage facility.
Climate and humidity control are something else to look for. This is especially true if you have electronic equipment. This is because high humidity causes moisture to build up and if the moisture builds up inside these devices, it will cause damage and may even destroy the items. There may be a thermostat installed inside the unit that allows you to control the temperature and humidity levels. If not, ask the owner of the facility what they keep these settings at.
